Wednesday 30th October - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – depressingly gloomy.

Another dull gloomy day that actually sucks the life out of you but at least it did not rain, fingers crossed we see some sunshine tomorrow! If anything we woke feeling a little worse but we threw ourselves into the day with me doing my exercises while Mag made some yummy pumpkin soup, doing loads of washing and cutting the grass, she is an absolute whirlwind! No picnic today instead we headed down to the seafront and bought sausage and chips and enjoyed them sitting on a groyne surrounded by gulls. Once again there is very little breeze and the sea is like a millpool. Lunch finished to ambled towards The Manor end and being half term it is way too busy for us! We then head over to Langer Park, Lidl and home for a mince pie and cuppa!
We get some unexpected news from my sister that my Dad has been sent home from hospital which was a surprise considering he is very fragil having not eaten much for weeks but at least he is now sleeping in his own bed, we feel useless having covid that we cant be of any help, my sister is a complete star!
